Q:
Do you provide residential maintenance?
A: Yes. We can provide a full range of services for both commercial
and residential customers.
Q:
Does your company install patios and other hardscape items?
A: Yes. We can install your entire yard. Our team of professionals
are experienced in each of the services we provide. Unlike other
landscape services, we do not need to farm out to subcontractors.
With Grant's General Landscaping & Design you work with one
team from start to finish.
Q:
Do your maintenance employees wear uniforms?
A: Yes. All our employees on the maintenance division wear uniforms
and drive professionally marked trucks with the Grant's General Landscaping & Design name and logo so you can identify who is working in
or near your yard.
Q:
Do you charge to give estimates?
A: No. We will meet with you and provide a professional bid for
no cost.
Q:
Will you install a landscape if I dont have plans?
A: Yes. We have a large variety of landscape plans available for
you to review as part of our color portfolio. We can also work with
you to design a custom landscape for you to enjoy.
Q:
Besides planting trees and grass to my landscape what else can you
install?
A: Not only can we plant sod or seed trees and shrubs but we can
also install a variety of stone work fences and low voltage lighting
so you can show off your newly designed landscape 24 hours a day!
Q:
Do you have insurance?
A: Yes, we are a fully insured company. We can provide you with
a binder of our insurance for your peace of mind. We also carry
workman's comp insurance, which is required by the state and federal
government.
Q:
When we contract you for weekly maintenance, what else is included
in this service?
A: We
will schedule you a day of the week (usually Wed - Sat) We mow your
lawn, string trim your curbs and flower beds and we power blow off
your decks, pool area, walkways and driveways. We will leave you
a door hanger with the service checked off and dated.
Q:
What is your billing system?
A: We
have a billing system that is computerized. We will bill mowing
customers at the end of the month. We do not charge interest so
we expect payment within 10-15 days of receiving the statement.
For big projects we will send an invoice out 5-7 days after we complete
your project.
Q:
What types of payment to do you accept?
A: We
currently accept cash and checks, but we will be accepting Visa
and MasterCard later this year.
Q:
If we have you do work for us when can you start?
A: We
typically have a 2-week wait for big projects (depending on weather)
and there is no wait for weekly maintenance and fertilizing. Every
year we increase our staff so we can take on more customers, but
our mowing customers are 1st come 1st scheduled and we fill up fast
on this.
Q:
After we hire you how do we get started on our project?
A:
We will give you a starting time/date that will work around your
schedule for your convenience. We will work full time on your project
until it is completed. We will also stay in touch with you for any
type of consulting you might need after the project is completed.
Q:
What other services do you provide besides landscaping?
A: We provide snow plowing and sanding and specialize in large commercial
accounts. We have staff on hand 24 hours throughout the winter season
to keep up on plowing and sanding. We can help provide safety and
reliability for your employees by keeping up on the parking lot.
